The turtles where very tasty but the price was very steep, even for St Armands circle.

This is the place to be. If you like a nice welcoming atmosphere, and kind people, come on in. The ice cream is wonderful, and the guy that does the counter always has great suggestions for me to try. Man it is somewhat pricey but it is worth every penny. Now this is saying something about a place that needs to become a national landmark.

My fiancé and I walked in after a long day on the beach for a bite of icecream and were rudely introduced by the boy behind the counter. The manager was very kind but after being greeted incorrectly, my fiancé gently corrected him. The boy excused his mistake with the "tiresome" work of standing behind the counter for an average work shift without a not only a sincere apology, but without an apology at all. We will never give them our service.

I have never enjoyed an ice cream store like I did the Fudge Factory during our visit to Longboat Key. And bear in mind that I am 75 years old; that's a lot of ice cream in a lifetime. We vacationed on Longboat Key for a week and once I discovered this place it became a daily routine to visit in the afternoons. Clearly, in so short time we tried only a small fraction of what they offer. Being the chocolate addict that I am, if this store were in my neighborhood I would develop a serious weight problem. Did I tell you how Ronnie makes you feel at home there? Outstanding!

Walked in with my the kids and was greeted with "rad" music that included cussing (strike 1). We were never acknowledged by the manager or staff, they were busy talking to each other (strike 2). They really didn't have anything that Kilwins' hasn't already been providing the circle for YEARS except lack of a friendly atmosphere (strike 3). I've been coming down here since 1980 and this place won't last. Sorry. You'll need more than dudes and beer to succeed. Find a niche before you blow more money.
